Scott Conn will take over the Truckee High varsity girls basketball program after being the coach at the North Tahoe High School for four years. Scoot said "I am very excited about the opportunity." Scott who had resigned as the Lakers head coach following the 2010 season. He said, "It's an opportunity to continue the tradition that Truckee has the winning basketball teams, particularly at the girls level." The Truckee Athletic Director, Jamie Legare said "Eight people applied for that position, which became available when Angelo Tenorio resigned recently to take over the school's varsity boys program."From hearing all this good information I think we have a great season coming up and great coaches coming in!
